Tozer…A serious threat to society!
If you’ve ever read Tozer (Pursuit of God , Knowledge of the Holy, God’s Pursuit of Man, etc…) then you know exactly what I’m talking about when I say, this guy’s books are a serious threat to society! Not in a bad way, mind you. Every time a person picks up one of his books to read, they are in deep danger of a drastic life change.
Most recently, I have put my current way of life on the line by reading Whatever Happened to Worship?. This book was actually compiled after Tozer’s death in the early 60’s. It reads as if he wrote it as is, however the contents of this book were taken from a compilation of his unpublished notes and sermons. The basis for this book is “a call to true worship.” Hmmm? Sound familiar my fellow Paradigmers (Worship series, Spring ‘08 ). If only I had known about this book before then, I probably would have had a few more things to say. Anywho, Whatever Happened to Worship? by A.W. Tozer, you ought to read it!
